Size Grading
  • Two primary reasons for size grading: prepare for packaging or optimize for down stream processing
  • Generally accomplished by vibratory conveyors, rotary reels, or adjustable gap rollers
  • Beware: size grading can be defeated by overrunning the capacity of the machine
  • For vibratory conveyors, choosing the right type of screen effects capacity and accuracy
